Today we recognize International Women's Day! On this special day we're encouraged to imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #EmbraceEquity.
Prior to the opening of TMP Academy, there are not Women teachers and less than 40% of the area students were girls. Since opening the doors of TMP Academy in 2018 we have achieved at least 50% of our students being girls and more than half of the staff are Women!
We are grateful today and every day for the impact the Women and girls have within TMP Academy and the community overall. They are out there doing some great work with high hopes.
